Otakon 2009 There seems to be 3 Funimation panels.Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 Key,Windows 7 Ultimate Key 1 industry on Saturday, 1 Sneak Peek on Saturday, and 1 industry panel on Sunday. Both Saturday panel will be held in the Hilton pioneerb -that lolita fashion show thing that you talk about is right up against the Saturday Funimation panel, but it is also in the Hilton, so you could possible skip back and forth. I really wonderhow attendance will be in the Hilton panels. Just got up, but this latest schedule doesn't look that different from when they took it down, so We'll still have to wait 'til the late changes [at the con]. On the positive side, there doesn't seem to be anything important on Friday morn until the 11am guest panels. As for the Ult. Lolita Fashion Show, that's going to be starting at 9a Saturday, not 10a, and is supposed to be a 2 hour event. I also don't know if I said this, but Fi's booth Anigames will be returning to the Otakon dealer room for 2009 (BOOTH 517). I completely missed it last year, but since I pegged it in the Members Only section, I won't now, and I want to buy a Piplup from him, hehe. I am definitely sure I do not like moving it to Friday night instead of Saturday. And cutting it back to 1 hour (From 1. 5 hour. ) is even more displeasing. (Then again, the number of VAs so far scheduled to appear at Otakon is pretty small, all things considered. Unless Mike Sinterniklaas or Mike McFarland appear, 1 hour may very well be plenty of time. ). Also note that Dub Actors After Dark will be in the largest non-ballroom panel room this year. Hence the first thing that get axed from my planner due to conflict - the Bandai Entertainment panel for Friday night. Also, their Q panel is now confirmed for 1:30pm Friday in Panel Room 4 (ballroom), where Otakon goers may win signed merchandise! If you're going to the show and want your badge that day, then please have your ticket(s) on hand and just show them to the staffer at the front door. You'll then be directed to the express line. Other than that, no new information, but Otakuman alerted me yesterday that Mangagamer is expected to have a booth and panel at this con. *Updated* They do have a booth (I001), but no confirmed panel yet. Also dealer room related, Kinokuniya (Booths 405-409, 506-510) will be offering a selection of Lolita outfits and accessories from top brands Angelic Pretty, Metamorphose, Victorian Maiden, as well as Visible. I don't know where they had it last year, but I do know that it is in the same room that it was held in 2007. There really wasn't any problems getting in the room then. In fact alot of us had to leave to go get wristbands and we walked right back in. I don't even remember the room being full. Now back when they had it in room 2 there was always people turned away. I think that going up against the Yaoi panel will help alot. Most of the crazy fangirls that run after Travis will probably be at the Yaoi panel instead. Edit: oh, I see from last years schedule that they moved it to panel 4 last year. Was it not full last year. That would be the only reason I could see them moving it back to panel 3 I don't know where they had it last year, but I do know that it is in the same room that it was held in 2007.
